Playing Farmer
Nong pop up store last weekend on Peoples Park Complex rooftop carpark.

Symmetry Cafe In The Morning
I went back to Symmetry cafe with Peifong the next morning for their brunch menu.

Signature waffle lived up to its name, best waffle i had so far. Ice cream is okay, i dont fancy blueberry ice cream.

Finally we arranged to meet for dinner on a Friday evening, more time to chit chat and catch up on the latest news and gossip.

Food is good but quite pricey, main course are in the range of 30ish, even the desserts are near to 20.
After dinner, we walked to Maison Ikkoku for cakes and coffee.

Hubby made me breakfast last Friday morning. Just scrambled egg but this is simple happiness :)
Goldhill Hakka Yong Tau Fu
Another find in my new neighborhood. An authentic old school Hakka yong tau foo and yam abacus balls.
This is da boss! I am always back for more. Never i like yam abacus so much before. The crisps on top is made of dried shrimps, squid and fired garlic, you cant stop popping the balls into your mouth.
Pork paste instead of fish paste, they just boiled it and serve it with a dash of fragrance oil.

Max adorable cushion cover from gmarket, shipped from a South Korea seller and manufactured in North Korea, yes you heard me correctly North Korea. It made me happy just by looking at it.

Rabbit Carrot Gun
Katong used to have two Katong laska store side by side, apparently one of them did not make it. Lucky us, we have another newly spouted brunch place to chill on weekend. Food here is pretty good, i will be back to try their quiche which is sold out on the day we went.
